This page explains how families and schools can request deletion of a Tiny Tots For Jesus account and what happens to the associated data.

1. Who can request deletion?

Tiny Tots For Jesus is used by schools together with parents and guardians. Because young children use the app under adult supervision, deletion requests must come from:

  • a parent or legal guardian of the child, or
  • an authorised school representative (such as the school administrator).

2. How to request deletion

You can request account deletion in one of these ways:

  1. Through the school: Contact your child's school office and ask them to send us a written request to delete the learner's Tiny Tots For Jesus account.
  2. Contact the developer directly:

    Please include your full name, the learner's full name, the school name, and the mobile number used to register in the app.

For safety, we may contact the school to verify the request before completing deletion.

3. What data is deleted?

When we delete a Tiny Tots For Jesus account, we permanently remove or anonymise:

  • the user profile (name, role and class assignment);
  • sign‑in identifiers linked to that profile;
  • learner‑specific progress data such as points and badges;
  • any device‑level notification preferences stored for that account.

Once processed, this data cannot be restored.

4. Data that may be retained

In some cases we may need to retain limited information for a short period of time to:

  • meet legal, tax or audit requirements;
  • maintain accurate school academic or attendance records; or
  • protect the integrity and security of the service.

Where data is retained, it is minimised and kept only for as long as necessary, after which it is securely deleted or anonymised.

5. Deleting data without closing the account

If you do not want the account fully removed, you may request that specific pieces of data (for example, gamification points or homework history) are cleared while the account remains active. Please specify this clearly when contacting us and we will confirm what is possible in coordination with the school.

6. Response time

We aim to respond to verified deletion requests within 14 calendar days. Complex cases, such as those involving multiple schools or learners, may take a little longer, but we will keep you informed of progress.
